Water may have damaged other components invisibly, and they can fail later. That is why the warranty is shorter after water damage.
Covered
- A defect in the installed part: touchscreen that stops responding, dead pixels, a battery that swells or drains abnormally fast
- A defect in our work: a loose part, a badly seated connector
- We repair or replace the part free of charge. If that is impossible, we refund the repair.
Not covered
- A new drop, impact, pressure or crack that appears after the repair
- Liquid contact after the repair
- A device opened or repaired by someone else after our work
- Normal wear
- Software issues unrelated to the replaced part
Making a claim
- Bring your phone back with your invoice, paper or email.
- We examine it on site, often in under 30 minutes.
- If the problem is covered, the repair is done the same day if the part is in stock.
Good to know
- After a repair not done by the manufacturer, some iPhones display a “non-genuine part” message. The phone works normally, and we tell you beforehand.
- Original water resistance may be reduced once a phone has been opened.
- Back up your data before any repair. We can do it for you.
