There is no right time for this. You can write to us, then take as long as you need before moving to the next step.
A first meeting
No commitment, at your pace. We listen, look at the phone together and answer your questions.
Authorization and handing over the phone
Signed by the estate liquidator or an heir. This is what allows us to access the content legally.
Recovering the data
In complete confidentiality, on our premises. Only the founder has access to the content.

What you entrust to us stays with us
Only the founder has access to the phone’s content and your memories.
Your data is kept on encrypted devices, in a locked room.
It is securely deleted within 30 days of the kit handover, unless you choose hosting.
Compliant with Quebec’s Law 25.

Before you begin
Required documents
The death certificate and proof that you are the estate liquidator or an heir. We can help you gather them.
Locked phones
We explore the legal options: a passcode known to the family, iCloud or Google backups, and Apple’s and Google’s official procedures for deceased users’ accounts.
Meetings
By appointment only, in a quiet, private space separate from the workshop. Evenings and weekends available. Home visits for people who cannot travel: free on the island of Montreal, $50 elsewhere in Greater Montreal (Laval, Longueuil, North Shore, South Shore), on request farther away.
